Placement and Action

After a comprehensive assessment of your child’s therapeutic, emotional and academic needs is completed we will work with you to provide the best placement match for your child. Your child begins his/her recovery as they enroll at the school or program you, with our help have chosen and, if needed, by working with the chosen therapist in that program.

Initially we may recommend a short-term program such as a wilderness program or residential treatment center. This short term placement can be seen as an extended time of evaluation as it allows for a richer assessment and a smoother transition into a long terms school or program

Along with developing an overarching action plan in collaboration with you, key services provided during this stage of consulting, include guiding you through admissions procedures and logistical arrangements, hand picking the right therapist when appropriate and assisting with any transitions.
